Spammers often like to spoof that you are the sender of the spam. You certainly don't want your address put on the blacklist, since you then won't be able to send mail to yourself. You also don't want your address put on the whitelist since spammers could exploit this to avoid spam rejection.

To accomplish this, you simply need to edit the avoidlist from the Configure menu and put your email address there so that Emmesmail avoids putting your address on either the whitelist or blacklist. After logging in, click "Configure", and then click "Avoid". Finally put your email address in the editor window that pops up, save the file, close the editor window and click "Done".
