The default mailto: client is the client that gets started when you click on a mailto:email-address link on a webpage. The default value for this in Windows® is Microsoft Outlook, but this is easily changed.

The easiest way to change the default mailto: client to Emmesmail is to login, go to the configuration menu, and click on "mailto". Answer "yes" when asked if you want Emmesmail to be your default mailto client.

After you have done this, the Emmesmail program will open whenever you click on a mailto: entry on a web page.

After you login by selecting your username and clicking OK, the compose window will open.

After you compose your message, click "Mail" and the "Select Sender Address and Subject" window will appear with the sender address properly filled in.

You may also set the mailto client by hand.
